We are looking for an energetic Student Life and Community Engagement Coordinator to join the American University in the Emirates. The ideal candidate will be responsible to plan, organize, and coordinate activities designed to enhance the educational and life experiences of students.

Salary Range & Benefits: AED 5,000 & Additional Benefits

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in an accredited university
• 1 – 3 years’ practical experience in university

Skills / Training / Knowledge

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and community members
• Experience in planning, organizing, and executing events and activities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of work
• Skills in building and maintaining relationships with students, faculty, community organizations, and external partners
• Working knowledge of UAE higher education sector
• Preferably Bilingual (speaks English and Arabic fluently)

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage events, activities, and competitions for students at AUE
• Coordinate international trips, including handling travel logistics, visa applications, and accomodations
• Manage AUE Student Clubs and Club Fair
• Organize and manage student recognition initiatives
• Organize community engagement ppportunities
• Secure sponsorships and partnerships to support student events and activities
• Develop awareness of Student Life services, functions, and activities
• Perform any duties as assigned by the superiors
