The American University in the Emirates (AUE) is seeking a highly efficient and professional Student Recruitment Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating student recruitment activities while providing advice, guidance, and assistance regarding the application and documentation processes for admission.

This position is open to female candidates only and requires proven experience in student recruitment within a university or higher education institution.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Media and Communication, or a related field.
• Must be bilingual, with fluency in both English and Arabic.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in student recruitment and enrollment, preferably within a reputable university or higher education institution.
• Demonstrated experience in student recruitment, admissions, enrollment, and engagement activities.

Skills / Training / Knowledge

• Knowledge of multiple-point marketing strategies, including P2P, B2B, online, and traditional media.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, schools, and other stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of the UAE higher education sector.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Welcome prospective and newly admitted students and respond professionally to student and parent inquiries.
• Conduct university tours to familiarize prospective and new students with the AUE campus, departments, facilities, and services.
• Represent AUE at education and career exhibitions locally and internationally.
• Conduct professional presentations for prospective students, parents, schools, educational institutions, and other stakeholders in the UAE and the Middle East.
• Handle and process new student application files and ensure that all required documentation is complete and accurate.
• Conduct orientation programs for new students through presentations, workshops, and various engagement activities.
• Plan and coordinate the university calendar of recruitment and student-related events.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, databases, and student recruitment data.
• Support the onboarding of new students by ensuring that student-related requirements, including housing, visa, tuition fee payment, and other arrangements, are properly coordinated and completed.
• Provide a high standard of customer service to students, parents, school principals, teachers, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with prospective students, parents, schools, and external partners to support student recruitment and enrollment objectives.
• Support student recruitment and enrollment strategies in line with the University's goals and requirements.
• Identify and secure funding from various sources to support the University's mission in line with the University's advancement and fundraising plan.
• Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring their continued engagement and support for the institution.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superiors.
